Dear Member,
Your Committee are delighted to present to you the programme for
our next season of events that starts with our Opening Dinner with
music at the Old Generator Station on the 15th of October when it will
be lovely to meet up again after the Summer break. You will note
that we offer a choice of either 2 or 3 course meal at the Christmas
event, where we can meet at the earlier time of 6.00 pm so we can
relax into the evening and enjoy more conversation with friends.
We have organised monthly events this season with a programme that
will hopefully attract full participation. Get your kilts ready for the Burns
Supper in January, and make sure you stock up with wine for
Christmas after the wine tasting event in November. The Quiz Night
returns by popular demand, and we have arranged for a talk in
February from Jon Canter, the television comedy writer who organizes
the Aldeburgh Comedy Festival.
We have kept our prices at last season’s levels to make this more
affordable, particularly for those who come to all the events.
We hope you will find the programme interesting and enticing -
please do invite along friends, family, neighbours to join you and
hopefully they will want to become part of our friendly Club in due
course.
